Founded on July 16th, 2003, Dongfeng Honda Automobile Company Limited (DHAC) is a JV business for complete vehicle production and operation invested in jointly by Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. (capital contribution: 50%), Honda Motor China Investment Co., Ltd. (capital contribution: 10%) and Honda Motor Company Limited (capital contribution: 40%). - Dongfeng Nissan
Nissan and Dongfeng have a long-standing relationship. Early on, the Chinese company produced diesel-powered Nissan trucks built from complete knock-down kits, and Nissan lent Dongfeng technical assistance.When the Chinese State began allowing foreign automakers market access through joint ventures, Nissan remained with Dongfeng.
